Ways We Go To Market
Much has changed in the way an independent rep group goes about marketing, educating and assisting in the specification and eventual selling of office furniture, textiles and accessories. Although our Midwest territory includes Chicago, having access to manufacturer’s showrooms isn’t a reality for all our territories and for many of our clients.
In the past, designers and dealer salespeople relied on their manufacturer’s rep to personally visit them and show new designs, products and finishes and update the library (who out there remembers furniture catalogs?). Today, the internet, social media, and the fast pace (short project deadlines) of our industry have all influenced the ways we market our products to specifiers. Our website, social media efforts, email marketing, etc. reflect it. Because relationships matter, we still visit our customers regularly and we’ll continue to do so because we live for that personal interaction, want to be liked and enjoy creating new opportunities!
So, we thought you might like to see how we promote products in our markets. We do Trade Shows, Best-of-NeoCon regional events, Road Shows and Pop-Up showrooms to bring the furniture to the people.
